Dear Reader,

Halfway through the month of January, I would like to wish you a happy new year. While we wish for a year more prosperous and eventful than the last, I pessimistically suspect a case of “meet new boss, same as old”.

On the bright side, our winter journal is nearly complete-details are soon to follow regarding our launch event. Just because one journal is done does not mean however that our journey is complete- on the contrary reader, we are now opening submissions for our Spring Journal, of which details can be viewed here.

Once again we implore all to submit- it is vital that the artists of the world (or at the very least, Toronto) converge on this auspicious occasion to satiate the ever-increasing hunter of The Trinity Review’s editorial board for quality art.

I can’t promise much in exchange, only that I will treat your work with the respect and seriousness I would expect afforded to me. In other words, this is serious business yo.
